The Franks Casket
A different branch of runic writing.
This Anglo-Saxon casket combines carved scenes with inscriptions. Its front includes a runic riddle about the whale whose bone supplied the material. The futhorc branch uses additional signs, so the Elder Futhark course alone does not explain every letter on the object.
